Custom Tailored Manufacturing ERP Software. The best solution!

Manufacturing ERP software is a great tool to have! If you happen to be part of an IT department or are experienced in manufacturing you will find that ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software can make managing your job much easier. I came across a blog a few weeks ago on this website that gave me great insight to which ERP software I was going to choose. Also, I was able to learn about the different kind of ERP systems available.

ERP Software

Manufacturing ERP Software. Leverage the power of browser based thin client technology.

ERP software includes management tools for areas such as Warehouse and Distribution, Plant Management, Customer Relations, Scheduling and Financial. These are only a few tools provided with Manufacturing ERP software.

After doing my research I have found that custom-tailored ERP software is the best way to go!

ERP software can either be “canned” which in short means the business has to conform to this kind of software. Canned systems have many unnecessary screens, not much ease, and do not allow modifications.

There is a complete opposite route to go with when considering which ERP software to choose. This would be considered a “customized” system. While this may sound great there are actually a few downfalls. “Customized” ERP software has a pretty large price tag, can take six months or longer to develop and is very difficult, sometimes impossible to upgrade.

Custom-tailored on the other hand takes less time to develop, is less expensive and is designed to fit your business. Custom tailored can also upgrade! As your company grows the custom tailored software can grow with it!
